In our latest podcast, I speak with Thomas Kolar, the manager of the first integrativ Café in Göppingen. With a background in the restaurant business and hospitality. He jumped on the chance to contribute more to the social fabric of Göppingen with a new type of Café. The concept seems to be working. Locally sourced and organic products with an inclusive philosophy and offerings. With special needs staff and an expanded menu they are recieving more recognition. Hosting hosting cultural events such as book readings during the intercultural weeks, participating during the Göppingen Stadtfest, the Christmas Market or the Musik Nacht Göppingen. The location and newly renovated outdoor area in combination with their staff create a relaxed atmosphere which makes all feel welcome.
